The status of Friendica on this site is that it needs at least:
* upgrade to latest version (currently 3.3.1; latest is 3.5
* SSL certificate, and force use of https:

Both of those things are on hold until I do the big server migration I'm planning Real Soon Now, to upgrade to the latest (LTS at least) Ubuntu and have a separate dev server so my work on Ferreteria and VbzCart doesn't take down existing tools.

...and that migration is on hold until I get VbzCart working so I can open the store and start working on InstaGov-related stuff, such as a social network with proper reputation management.

...and working on that is why I'm up at 5:50 on a Saturday (I usually get up earlier).

P.S. I could make a video of trying to properly format that list (at the top) using HTML; it would be amusing in a facepalm kind of way. You'll note that I gave up and went back to asterisks.

I want a social network that lets me treat posts the way I would treat emails, i.e. file them in various ways -- and of course search within or across folders.

I want an email system that will let me share folders with other users -- e.g. so Harena & I could have a "for review" folder when I write a draft of an email that's coming from both of us. (I also want an email client that will let me sort folders how *I* want, dammit Thunderbird.)

Entirely by accident, I discovered that even though the version of Ubuntu currently installed on my virtual servers doesn't provide a package for LetsEncrypt, VirtualMin now has a script which requests certificates and installs them automagically.

So https://wiki.hypertwins.org/Main_Page and https://vbz.net (still under reconstruction) now should stop giving cert errors. (Issuepedia, HTYP, and my other sites are on another server which isn't managed by VirtualMin, so still can't fix those easily.)

VbzCart admin UI starting to come back together:Image/photo

I should have mentioned that Ferreteria, the app framework I've developed for VbzCart, should make it easier to do a lot of other user-based interactive sites, mainly InstaGov (which looks like it needs to be based on a social network structure).

(P.S. Just try inserting an image inline like this in G+...)
